Flock ("the app") is a job application tracker built with a privacy-first approach. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it is stored, and your rights as a user. Because the app does not collect or transmit personal data, this policy is intentionally simple.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Flock does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number)
• Resumes, cover letters, or other documents beyond what you choose to type into the app
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioural data
• Crash logs or diagnostics sent to any external server
• Any data through third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or ad networks

3. Data Stored on Your Device

All data you enter into Flock, including companies, roles, application stages, and notes, is stored exclusively on your device using your browser's local storage. This data:

• Never leaves your device automatically
• Is not accessible to the app developer
• Is not backed up to any external server operated by Flock
• May be included in your device or browser's own backup features, which are governed by that provider's privacy policy

4. No Third-Party Sharing

There are no third-party services, advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers integrated into Flock. No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party under any circumstances.

5. No Account Required

Flock does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app. The app functions entirely without registration or sign-in.

6. Children's Privacy

Flock does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by design.

7. Data Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. To delete your data, clear the app's data from your browser settings, or simply stop using the app. This permanently removes all app data stored locally. There is no data held on any external server to request deletion of.

8. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Given the app's privacy-first design, any future changes are expected to remain minimal.
